IDA JUHL
Ida Juhl (b. 1994) is an Iceland-based composer and performer that works with contrasts and sound material as an intermediary. She’s composed for sound-installations such as Terra Forma (2017) at the La Merce Festival in Barcelona, worked with live-improvisation etc. Her main line of work has evolved around the solo-project IDK IDA, an industrial electronica act with releases counting an album, ep, remixes and live-improvisation, released through R6013, Post-Dreifing and Agalma. As an active member of the underground scene, Ida is a member of icelandic collective and label Post-Dreifing and RASK amongst other initiatives. In 2022 she’ll graduate with a bachelor in electronic composition from the Royal Academy of Music Aarhus.
